I matriculated in Belgium with a diploma in sewing after finishing a 4-year specialised course in high school, the itch to use my hands was visible from a young age.

After completing my diploma, my passion and interest grew for all kinds of needlework from lace making to fancy ribbon embroidery, from knitting to cross-stitch and more recently machine embroidery.

My sewing skills came in handy while raising my 3 sons, I was able to create fun of trending clothing throughout their childhood.

I only considered it to be a hobby ever since leaving school and once arriving in South Africa I started honing these skills once a week with the same teacher.

Looking for new challenges about 2,5 years ago, I started doing projects with Hazel Nienaber, who introduced me to the Husqvarna brand and machines.

After finally buying my own Husqvarna Epic, I enjoy the sewing and embroidery projects even more, so much that I decided to make my passion my main occupation.

I am so excited to be starting this new adventure and cannot wait to share all my knowledge in future workshops and classes  to come.
